If you own a cell phone and a car, the chances are high that you have texted while driving. Car and Driver Magazine did a study that showed that texting and driving causes longer reaction time than drinking and driving (same for reading email while driving).
If that is the case, everyone who owns a cell phone and drives a car is at risk to a negligence lawsuit (hitting another car or bike rider or walker when being distracted by their cell phone).
